Reality Reflection

Reality Reflection

Q Reflection is an important part of the writing process--both for you and for me as your instructor. I would like you to write a 600-700 word reflection that details your writing process for this paper. Consider the following questions as you write your reflection: • How has this paper been different from other academic essays you've written? • What were the easiest parts of this unit? What was the most challenging? • What was your writing process like? Did you start earlier than you normally do? Later? Was your required prewriting assignments (topic submissions and outlines) helpful for you? How much time did you spend revising your paper? • What materials and/or videos were helpful for you? Not so helpful? —I’d love specific answers to this question. I’ve had limited experience teaching online, so I want to know what’s working and what’s not. • Was there anything that your instructor could have done to make the process a bit better? (It's okay if you've got a little criticism--honest feedback is what fosters improvement) Your reflection should be in paragraph form, not a list of bullet points. And please, please, please don't give me a single-spaced document. It just feels like you're taunting my aging eyes.

This paper has been different than the other papers as it required me to use personal experience and expertise rather than state facts using outside sources from the Web, magazines, and books. As each person sees the world in his or her unique way, so did I. The inference is that, because each of us sees the world through our own eyes, reality varies from one person to the next. While it is true that everyone sees reality in their way, the reality could care less about our viewpoints. Reality does not alter in order to accommodate our perspectives; reality is what it is and this paper helped me with deeper analysis on what were the misconceptions about vulnerability.
